Job Overview:-As a Quantity Surveyor and Billing Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This includes cost estimation, quantity take-offs, contract administration, and preparing bills of quantities. Your role is crucial in ensuring that construction projects are completed within budget and to the desired quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:-

Cost Estimation and Budgeting
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
Develop project budgets and perform cost analysis.
Evaluate the cost implications of project changes and variations.

Quantity Take-Offs
Measure and quantify all construction activities.
Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) based on project drawings and specifications.
Conduct periodic site visits to verify quantities and work progress.
3.
Contract Administration
Draft, review, and manage construction contracts and agreements.
Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Handle claims and dispute resolution as required.
4.
Billing and Invoicing
Prepare and submit interim and final bills for clients and subcontractors.
Verify and certify subcontractor and supplier invoices.
Maintain accurate records of project expenditures and financial transactions.
5.
Project Coordination
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
Provide technical advice and support on cost-related issues.
Monitor project progress and prepare progress reports.
6.
Cost Control and Reporting
Implement cost control measures to keep projects within budget.
Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts.
Analyse cost data and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Compliance and Documentation
Ensure all work complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.
Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory authorities.
Qualifications and Skills: -
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
: Minimum of 4 years of experience in quantity surveying and billing in the real estate or construction industry.
Technical Skills
: Proficiency in cost estimating software, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and other relevant software.
Knowledge
: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal requirements.
Communication
: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical Skills
: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to Detail
: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Teamwork
: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Certifications
: Relevant certifications (e.g., RICS, CIQS) are a plus.
