Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Estimation & Budgeting

Prepare detailed

Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

based on architectural and structural drawings. Conduct detailed

Rate Analysis

for various construction items (Civil, Finishing, and MEP). Assist in the preparation of initial project budgets and cash flow projections.

2. Billing & Certification

Verify and certify

RA (Running Account) Bills

submitted by contractors and subcontractors against actual site measurements. Process

Joint Measurement Sheets (JMS)

and ensure strict adherence to IS Code 1200 standards. Handle final bill settlements and close-out documentation for completed packages.

3. Material Reconciliation & Cost Control

Perform regular

Material Reconciliation

(Cement, Steel, Aggregates, etc.) to track theoretical vs. actual consumption. Identify variances/wastage and prepare

Reconciliation Reports

for management review. Monitor project costs against the approved budget and flag potential overruns immediately.

4. Contracts & Tendering

Assist the procurement team in floating inquiries, preparing comparative statements, and vendor negotiation. Draft and review

Work Orders

and Sub-Contractor agreements. Manage variation orders (Change Orders) and claims management.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain a robust

MIS (Management Information System)

regarding daily progress, billing status, and material inward/outward. Review and approve

Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)

.

Technical Requirements

Education:

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory). NICMAR (QS) certification is a plus.

Software Proficiency:

Advanced proficiency in

MS Excel

(VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is non-negotiable. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(for extracting measurements). Experience with

ERP software

(SAP/Oracle/Highrise) is highly preferred. Familiarity with MSP (Microsoft Projects) is an advantage.

Domain Knowledge:

Strong understanding of

IS Codes (specifically IS 1200)

, CPWD specifications, and local market rates in Bangalore.

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
