Job Summary

Unicap is seeking an experienced Quantity Supervisor (Civil) to manage site measurements, quantity verification, cost tracking, and coordination across residential, commercial, and institutional construction projects in Calicut, Kerala. The role requires strong technical competence, proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD, and effective client-handling skills to ensure accurate quantity control and smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out detailed site measurements and quantity verification as per approved drawings and BOQs. Prepare, check, and maintain quantity records, abstracts, and measurement sheets. Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors for accurate quantity tracking. Monitor material consumption and assist in site-level cost control. Support billing, reconciliation, and preparation of variation statements. Ensure executed quantities match approved drawings and specifications. Maintain daily site records, measurement books, and progress documentation. Use Microsoft Excel extensively for quantity tracking, reporting, and summaries. Use AutoCAD for understanding drawings and quantity take-offs. Coordinate with clients and consultants for measurement approvals and clarifications. Identify quantity deviations, mismatches, or excesses and report them to management. Ensure proper documentation, coordination, discipline, and control at the project site.

Key Requirements

Qualification:

B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering
Experience:

3-4 years of experience in quantity supervision or site quantity work
Project Exposure:

Residential, commercial, and institutional construction projects
Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Working knowledge of AutoCAD Ability to read and interpret drawings and BOQs accurately
Other Requirements:

Valid driving license (mandatory) Good client-handling and communication skills Willingness to work at project sites in and around Calicut Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
