We're a fast-growing quantitative trading firm based in Mumbai, seeking driven and analytical minds to join us as Quantitative Research Interns. This internship offers a rare opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the full research-to-deployment pipeline -- from data engineering and feature extraction to model development, backtesting, and live strategy evaluation. You'll be mentored by experienced quants and traders in a dynamic, meritocratic environment where your research can directly influence trading outcomes.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and evaluate statistical and machine learning models for market forecasting and signal generation.
Analyze large-scale time-series datasets to uncover actionable patterns.
Implement and enhance backtesting frameworks to measure model performance and risk.
Prototype innovative trading ideas and automate research workflows using efficient Python code.
Present your findings and insights through concise research notes, reports, and presentations.
What We're Looking For
Strong quantitative foundation in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or related fields.
Solid understanding of probability, statistical inference, and time-series analysis.
Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms and model evaluation techniques.
Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and version control using Git.
Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Haves)
Knowledge of C++ or other high-performance languages.
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and data pipelines.
Exposure to financial markets, derivatives, or quantitative trading.
Experience with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), or distributed computing.
