As a Vice President Quant Analytics in Data Analytics - Legal Regulatory & Controls Operations team, you will lead a team to extract business value from data, develop innovative analytics solutions, and partner with stakeholders to deliver insights that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction
Job responsibilities
Lead partnerships with Operations stakeholders and Product groups to understand business drivers and data processes
Build business cases, design tests, and analyze pilot program performance to inform customer strategies
Analyze customer interactions across channels to identify friction points and improve journeys
Develop and report on operational performance metrics and KPIs using advanced analytical tools
Create self-serve tools to provide real-time information to decision-makers
Mentor and coach team members, driving consistent high performance
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field and twelve years of applied data analytics experience
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Strong database skills and ability to write, optimize, and tune complex SQL scripts
Proficient in at least four data analytics tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau, Alteryx
Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, design solutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Experience in wrangling large, complex datasets and automating data processes
Proven track record in delivering analytics solutions under strict timelines
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience in financial services or consulting supporting financial firms
Familiarity with big data disciplines and cloud technologies
Exposure to Agile methodologies such as scrum
Growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning
