Job Title: Quality Technician - Shirt Division

Department: Quality

Location: Erode, Tamilnadu

Job Summary:

The Quality Technician - Shirt Division will be responsible for ensuring product quality, technical accuracy, and process improvement in shirt manufacturing. The role involves providing technical guidance for new styles, maintaining buyer quality standards, and supporting the production team to achieve zero-defect garments.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze new shirt styles, study buyer specifications, and set construction standards. Develop operation breakdowns, stitch classes, seam types, and machine requirements. Conduct pre-production meetings and guide sampling and production teams on technical requirements. Implement and monitor in-line, mid-line, and final quality control systems. Analyze defects and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce DHU%. Provide technical training to supervisors, quality checkers, and operators on quality and workmanship. Support production with troubleshooting on stitching, finishing, and measurement issues. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for quality and process efficiency. Maintain all quality documentation, inspection reports, and audit records.
Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma/Degree in Textile / Garment Technology. 3-4 years of experience in woven shirt manufacturing (export or domestic). Strong technical knowledge of shirt construction, machinery, and garment quality standards. Experience in handling AQL systems.
Key Skills:

In-depth knowledge of garment construction and quality processes. Problem-solving and root cause analysis. Strong communication and training ability. Leadership and coordination skills across departments.
