Position Overview:



We are seeking a

Quality Assistant

to support daily quality control and inspection activities for our electric two-wheeler manufacturing operations. The role involves conducting in-process and final inspections, assisting in root cause analysis, maintaining documentation, and ensuring adherence to company quality standards.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in testing, defect analysis, and quality documentation for electric vehicle components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Inspection & Testing



Conduct

incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections

of EV components and finished vehicles. Perform checks for

electrical, mechanical, cosmetic, fit-and-finish, and functional parameters

. Verify

battery, charging system, wiring, motor, controller, lights, brakes

, and other assemblies.

2. Documentation & Reporting



Maintain

inspection reports, PDI reports, rejection logs, and QC checklists

. Update quality records in

ERP / Excel

. Assist in preparing

daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports

.

3. Process & Compliance Support



Assist in

root cause analysis (RCA)

and implement

corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)

. Support

ISO 9001 compliance

, internal/external audits, and process verification. Ensure adherence to

quality procedures, SOPs, and safety norms

.

4. Coordination & Issue Resolution



Report directly to the Quality Head and Plant Manager

regarding inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Coordinate with

production, store, and service teams

to resolve quality issues.

Reject non-conforming incoming materials

and escalate to the Quality Head / Plant Manager. Communicate quality concerns promptly and ensure closure.

5. Additional Responsibilities



Support the

PDI team

in functional checks of new vehicles. Conduct

basic calibration checks

on inspection tools. Participate in

5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement

activities. Assist in

client feedback handling, audit preparation, and cross-functional meetings

.

Preferred Qualifications



ITI / Diploma / Degree in

Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

.

1-3 years

of experience in a Quality Control / Quality Assurance role (preferably in the

automotive or EV sector

). Familiarity with

inspection techniques, SPC, RCA, CAPA

, and

QMS

. Proficiency in

MS Excel and ERP systems

. Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and communication.

Preferred Certifications (Optional)



Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) Six Sigma Green Belt
