Job Summary:

The

Quantity Surveyor

is responsible for managing all aspects of the

cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control

of construction projects. The role ensures that the project is completed within the approved budget and in compliance with contractual, technical, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

quantity take-offs

,

cost estimates

, and

BOQs (Bill of Quantities)

from drawings and specifications. Analyze project drawings, scope, and tender documents to determine material, labor, and time requirements. Prepare

rate analysis

, tender evaluations, and cost comparison reports. Monitor and control project budgets, costs, and variations. Review and verify

subcontractor and supplier invoices

and claims. Prepare

interim and final payment certificates

for clients and subcontractors. Conduct

site visits

for quantity verification and progress measurement. Coordinate with the project team for

cost forecasting

and project planning. Prepare and maintain all relevant documentation and reports. Assist in

contract administration

, including claims, variations, and extensions of time. Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and industry standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's / Diploma

in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

as a Quantity Surveyor in

Road

construction, infrastructure, or civil projects

. Strong understanding of

construction methods, materials, and costs

. Proficient in

AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software

(e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar). Knowledge of

contracts and project management principles

(FIDIC preferred). Excellent analytical and communication skills.
