Job Description

A Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing a company's quality assurance or quality control department, ensuring products and services meet established standards. They manage teams, develop and implement quality procedures, analyze data for improvements, and ensure compliance with regulations. Ultimately, they play a key role in maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and Supervise:

Manage and mentor quality control inspectors or technicians, ensuring they adhere to established procedures and standards.

Develop and Implement:

Create and implement quality control policies, procedures, and standards.

Monitor and Evaluate:

Oversee the quality of products and services, identify areas for improvement in the production process, and recommend corrective actions.

Data Analysis:

Analyze data related to quality control activities to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for improvement.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, both internal and external.

Training:

Train staff on quality control procedures and best practices.

Communication:

Communicate quality-related information to relevant stakeholders, including management, production teams, and customers.

Audits:

Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Problem Solving:

Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Documentation:

Maintain quality documentation, including test plans, protocols, and reports.

Continuous Improvement:

Continuously seek ways to improve the quality management system and processes.
