Leading Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) execution across all MTP New Product Introduction (NPI) programs by engaging a worldwide team in the steps that enable a quality NPI launch, delivering the quality products our customers expect. Collaborating daily with engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and supply chain teams around the world to drive Concurrent Product and Process Development (CPPD). Managing the key metrics that predict a quality NPI launch, making the metrics visible through a dashboard, and driving action to achieve goals. Participating in and occasionally leading NPI Quality Deep Dives with MTP leaders to recommend readiness to proceed at each NPI gate, exercising stop-to-fix when appropriate. Driving process excellence and consistent product quality through full product and process validation in NPI. Drive excellence in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEAs), Standard Work documentation, Production Part Approval Process (PPAPs), and Control Plans. Supporting NPI machine builds to drive process improvement, issue identification, and issue resolution. Most importantly, you must have a passion for quality that inspires and further embeds the quality culture and defect-free goals that will maintain and improve our world-class MTP product line. Basic Qualifications A Bachelor\'s degree, or higher, from an accredited college or university in an Engineering curriculum or technical field AND 4 years of experience in executing NPI within an engineering, purchasing, and/or manufacturing team. Demonstrated English written and verbal communication skills. Top candidates will also bring (desired qualifications): Demonstrated ability to facilitate a highly collaborative and inclusive team culture to work through difficult issues. Manufacturing experience in Assembly, Fabrication, or Quality roles. Knowledge of APQP processes and tools. Medium Tractor product knowledge. Knowledge of Caterpillar\'s product development and NPI process.
