A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Quality Inspector at Siemens Gamesa Wind Power, your day will be dynamic and engaging. You will start by conducting visual and dimensional inspections of wind turbine components on-site at a wind farm. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures compliance with technical specifications and quality standards. You will perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and verify welding quality, coating thickness, and bolt torquing. Your role includes maintaining detailed inspection records and collaborating with a diverse team to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
How You'll Make an Impact

• Conduct thorough inspections of wind turbine components to ensure flawless performance.

• Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to identify potential issues and maintain safety.

• Maintain and document comprehensive inspection records and quality control measures.

• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to successfully implement quality improvements.

• Lead quality audits and participate in supplier assessments to ensure adherence to standards.

• Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors and site teams, fostering a culture of excellence!

What You Bring

• Proven ability to conduct visual and dimensional inspections with exceptional attention to detail.

• Expertise in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods like ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant inspections.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and an attitude geared towards addressing challenges.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues and collaborators at all levels.

• A self-motivated attitude with the capability to make decisions with minimal supervision.
