Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Quality Professional

with hands-on experience in

plastic moulding processes

. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of plastic material properties, moulding parameters, and quality standards, and be capable of identifying and resolving defects in moulded components.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and inspect plastic moulding production processes to ensure quality standards are met. Evaluate product samples against specifications using standard quality tools and techniques. Understand and manage parameters involved in plastic moulding such as temperature, pressure, cycle time, etc. Differentiate and assess the quality of various plastic materials (e.g., PP, ABS, HDPE, PVC, etc.) used in production. Perform regular audits and inspections on incoming raw materials, in-process products, and final products. Identify and document defects, suggest corrective/preventive actions, and support continuous improvement efforts. Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other quality inspection tools. Maintain proper documentation and ensure traceability of inspections and test results. Collaborate with production, design, and maintenance teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

plastic moulding techniques

(injection, blow, or rotational moulding preferred). Familiar with

material behavior

and capable of identifying appropriate material selection for applications. Working knowledge of

quality tools

such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5 Why, Pareto Analysis, etc. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications. Proficient in

MS Office

and basic quality reporting/documentation. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward quality improvement.

Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Plastics Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a quality role within a plastic moulding environment.

Preferred:

Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems (QMS). Experience with customer audits and quality certifications.
