Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Quality Manager

to lead and manage all quality assurance and quality control activities for our hardware export unit. The role ensures compliance with international quality standards, customer requirements, and export regulations while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain

Quality Management Systems (QMS)

in line with

ISO 9001

and other applicable standards Ensure product quality compliance with

international export standards

and buyer specifications Oversee

incoming, in-process, and final inspections

of hardware products Handle

customer audits, third-party inspections

, and certifications Manage

AQL inspections

, control plans, SOPs, and quality documentation Identify quality issues, conduct

root cause analysis

, and implement

corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)

Coordinate with production, procurement, and dispatch teams to maintain quality consistency Monitor supplier quality and conduct

vendor audits

Train and guide quality inspectors and shop-floor staff on quality practices Ensure compliance with

export documentation

, testing requirements, and traceability Drive

continuous improvement initiatives

to reduce rejections, rework, and customer complaints

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

hardware manufacturing processes

(locks, builder's hardware, fittings, etc.) Hands-on experience with

ISO 9001

, quality audits, and inspection tools Good understanding of

export quality requirements

and buyer compliance Familiarity with measuring instruments, gauges, and testing methods Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Ability to lead teams and coordinate across departments Good documentation, reporting, and communication skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

in Mechanical Engineering / Production / Industrial Engineering or equivalent

4+ years of relevant experience

in a hardware manufacturing/export unit Certification in Quality Management (ISO Internal Auditor, Six Sigma - preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
