Reporting To: Plant Head / Director - Operations

Experience: 10-18 Years

Role Purpose:

The Quality Manager will establish and lead an Aerospace quality management system compliant with AS9100D, NADCAP, and OEM requirements. This role ensures zero-defect manufacturing for high-precision structural and engine components.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Management System (QMS) Leadership - Implement and sustain AS9100D QMS - Manage APQP, PPAP, FAIR, Change Management, Risk Management

2. Aerospace Compliance & Customer Quality - Handle OEM standards (Airbus, Boeing, GE, Rolls-Royce) - Manage NCRs, SCARs, 8D, customer audits

3. Process Control & Statistical Quality - SPC, MSA, Cp/Cpk analysis - Control critical characteristics

4. Inspection, Metrology & Measurement - CMM, surface roughness, final inspection, calibration

5. Special Processes & NADCAP - Audit special processes with vendors(third-party) (HT, NDT, Shot Peening)

6. Supplier & Incoming Quality - Supplier audits, mill certification validation

7. Non-Conformance & Continuous Improvement - MRB, PPM reduction, Lean Six Sigma

8. Digital Quality & Industry 4.0 - Implement Digital QMS, SPC automation

9. Team Leadership & Development - Lead inspectors, documentation teams, training

Technical Skills: - AS9100D, FAIR, SPC, MSA, CMM, GD&T, NADCAP

Behavioral Skills: - Leadership, customer communication, data-driven decision making KPIs: - PPM reduction, audit closure time, yield, supplier quality
