Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with
IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
.
Lead internal and external audits, ensuring readiness for certification and compliance.
Define quality objectives, KPIs, and processes specific to aluminium manufacturing operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize production efficiency.
Collaborate with production, engineering, procurement, and maintenance teams to ensure quality at every stage of the manufacturing process.
Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Supervise and mentor the quality team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Ensure environmental, health, and safety standards are integrated into daily operations.
Monitor supplier quality and coordinate improvement plans with vendors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Quality Manager, preferably in
aluminium, metal, or automotive manufacturing
.
Strong knowledge of
IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
standards and quality methodologies (FMEA, 8D, SPC, PPAP, APQP).
Solid understanding of metallurgical processes, extrusion, rolling, casting, or finishing operations in aluminium production.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Leadership experience with a track record of driving high-performing teams.
Strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
Preferred:
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen in aluminium/metal production.
Experience managing supplier quality for critical components.
