The QC Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all cosmetic products manufactured meet the required quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This role involves managing the QC team, supervising laboratory operations, implementing testing protocols, and ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO, and cosmetic regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control & Testing:
Oversee raw material, in-process, and finished goods testing as per approved specifications.
Develop, validate, and implement testing methods for cosmetic products.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure adherence to GMP, ISO, and local/international cosmetic regulatory requirements.
Review and approve QC test reports, COAs, and product release documents.
Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records.
Team Management:
Lead, train, and supervise the QC team.
Assign work schedules and ensure timely completion of testing.
Conduct performance evaluations and skill development for QC staff.
Quality Systems & Audits:
Prepare and face internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.
Monitor stability studies and maintain trend analysis reports.
Collaboration:
Work closely with R&D, QA, and Production teams to resolve quality issues.
Provide technical support for new product development and scale-up activities.
Support investigations of market complaints and product recalls, if any.
Key Skills & Competencies:
