- Quality Manager (Sheet Metal Industry | Pune)Roles & Responsibilities

Lead overall quality functions for sheet metal components and assemblies. Develop, implement, and monitor

quality control plans (QCP)

, inspection standards, and testing procedures. Conduct

incoming, in-process, and final inspections

using CMM, Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc. Prepare & maintain

PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC

documentation. Perform

root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone)

for customer complaints and internal issues. Coordinate with production, design & fabrication teams for quality improvements. Ensure compliance with

IATF 16949 / ISO 9001

quality standards. Improve process capability (CP, CPK) and reduce rejection & rework. Conduct supplier audits and manage

supplier quality

improvements. Prepare quality records--control plans, check sheets, inspection reports, calibration reports. Support customer, internal, and third-party audits. Ensure quality in sheet metal processes:

laser cutting, bending, welding, stamping, powder coating

, etc.

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of

sheet metal manufacturing

. Excellent

drawing reading, GD&T, and tolerance analysis

. Experience in

APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA

. Strong exposure to

customer handling & NCR closure

. Effective use of quality tools--8D, Fishbone, Pareto, 5 Why. Strong communication & documentation skills.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
