Job Description

Position: Head of Quality (HOD - QUALITY)

Qualification: (B.E) Mechanical

Experience: 14 to 18 years in Quality Management with experience in Sheet Metal Stamping & Automotive Industry

Location: Willing to relocate to Hosur, Tamilnadu

Responsibilities:

a) Sound knowledge in sheet metal stamping and welding process. Also, in Heat and Surface treatment

b) Capable to handle Quality department

c) Knowledge in quality systems standards like IATF 16949 Standards

d) Sound knowledge in APQP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, Operations standards and PPAP etc.

e) Sound knowledge in deciding inspection and testing methods.

f) Sound Knowledge in problem solving techniques like 8D, QC story, etc.

g) Contribute in CFT team to achieve Quality targets.

h) Capable to understand & incorporate customer requirements in inspection documents.

i) Execute & accomplish inspection planning, standards, and analyses data

j) Control & Monitoring of Quality of product through incoming, in-process, final inspection, dock audit, layout inspection and process and product audits,

k) Communication and Presentation skills

I) Maintaining cordial relationship with customer

m)Handling of customer complaints and settling the complaints with in target time.

n) Drive quality team to achieve production department Quality objectives and awareness on Quality Policy

o) Capable of identifying the continuous improvements areas and implementation of the same.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
