Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Quality Manager

to lead and strengthen the Quality Management System across CNC machining operations. The role involves ensuring consistent product quality for

HMC and VMC-machined components

, meeting stringent customer and regulatory requirements in

Railway, Energy (Wind Mills), and General Engineering sectors

.

The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement, manage audits and compliance, and build a strong quality culture across the organization.

Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management System (QMS)

Develop, implement, and maintain robust

quality assurance systems and standards

. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, statutory regulations, and industry standards. Maintain and improve

ISO 9001

and other applicable quality certifications.
CNC Quality Assurance (HMC / VMC)

Oversee inspection and testing of

raw materials, in-process parts, and finished components

. Define inspection methods, control plans, and quality checkpoints for CNC operations. Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
Process Improvement & Continuous Improvement

Analyze defects, rejections, and customer complaints using

root cause analysis tools

. Lead and implement

Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives

. Drive reduction in rejection, rework, and customer PPM levels.
Audits & Compliance

Plan and conduct

internal audits

, process audits, and supplier audits. Coordinate and support

customer audits and third-party audits

. Ensure compliance with

health, safety, and environmental regulations

.
Customer & Supplier Quality

Handle customer complaints, conduct failure analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality of incoming materials and vendor development. Review and approve supplier quality performance and improvement plans.
Team Leadership & Training

Lead, mentor, and develop the

Quality Assurance team

. Define KPIs and ensure team performance aligns with organizational goals. Promote a strong

quality mindset and accountability culture

across departments.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering

or related discipline.

10-15 years

of experience in Quality Management, preferably in

CNC machining environments

. Strong hands-on knowledge of

HMC and VMC machining processes

. Experience in handling components for

Railway, Wind Energy, and General Engineering

sectors. Thorough knowledge of

ISO 9001, quality tools, and statistical techniques

.
