We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented
Quality Manager
to oversee the entire quality function in our electronics manufacturing facility, with a focus on cable charging products. The role includes managing PQC, IQC, OQC processes, implementing and maintaining QMS standards (e.g., ISO 9001), utilizing 7 QC Tools, and ensuring continuous quality improvement across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Systems and Compliance (QMS):
Establish, implement, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
Lead internal and external audits; prepare for customer audits.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and customer-specific requirements.
2. Process Quality Control (PQC):
Monitor and control in-process inspection to ensure quality at each production stage.
Analyze process deviations, defects, and failures using root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Work with production teams to optimize process parameters to reduce scrap and rework.
3. Incoming Quality Control (IQC):
Supervise the inspection of incoming materials (e.g., cables, connectors, components) to ensure they meet specification.
Coordinate with suppliers for non-conformance resolution and continual improvement.
Develop and maintain incoming inspection criteria and sampling plans.
4. Outgoing Quality Control (OQC):
Ensure finished cable charging products meet customer quality standards before shipment.
Define and maintain final inspection protocols.
Track and report customer complaints and initiate CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action).
5. Use of 7 QC Tools:
Apply statistical tools such as Pareto Analysis, Cause-and-Effect Diagram, Control Charts, Check Sheets, Histograms, Scatter Diagrams, and Stratification to analyze and improve quality performance.
6. Team Management:
Lead and train a team of QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
Foster a quality-driven culture within the organization.
Provide training and guidance on quality tools, techniques, and standards.
7. Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methods.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements.
8. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain proper quality documentation including inspection reports, CAPA records, audit findings, etc.
Generate regular quality reports for senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control in electronics manufacturing.
Hands-on experience in PQC, IQC, OQC.
Proficient in ISO 9001 QMS, 7 QC Tools, and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of cable/charger product specifications and safety standards is a strong plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Certification in Six Sigma, Lead Auditor (ISO 9001), or similar is desirable.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with tools like SPC, Minitab, FMEA, PPAP, APQP.
Experience with customer audits and supplier quality management.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
