Job Description

RIPL is hiring a Quality Manager for its Hot Rolling Mill unit, specializing in steel sections like angles, channels, flats (patta), and round bars. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in quality control within a steel rolling mill environment and be capable of implementing and maintaining strict quality standards across production.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and ensure product quality of rolled steel sections (angle, channel, patta, round).

Conduct in-process and final inspections to maintain size, shape, and surface finish accuracy.

Identify defects like scale, cracks, uneven shape, or dimension issues and recommend corrective action.

Implement and maintain quality systems and documentation.

Coordinate with production teams to minimize quality-related rejections and wastage.

Maintain testing records (such as tensile strength, chemical composition, etc.) when required.

Handle customer complaints and provide technical support regarding product quality.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: B.Sc. mandatory

Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a steel hot rolling mill.

Strong understanding of hot rolling processes and quality standards.

Good leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
