Experience in failure analysis and problem-solving tools.
Knowledge of BIS, and safety certification requirements.
Data analysis and reporting skills.
Leadership, communication, and vendor management skills.
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
5-12 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
Experience in home appliance manufacturing (mandatory or preferred).
Hands-on experience with testing equipment for electrical appliances.
Lead QC engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
Provide training on quality standards and inspection procedures.
Conduct performance reviews and skill development.
Maintain quality documentation as per ISO standards.
Ensure compliance with BIS, safety standards, and internal quality policies.
Maintain calibration records of testing equipment.
Establish SOPs, control plans, and checkpoints for assembly lines.
Identify process gaps and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure line balancing and reduce in-process defects (IPQC).
Develop and implement inspection standards for incoming, in-process, and final products.
Monitor quality of components such as motors, blades, PCBs, plastic parts, heating elements, etc.
Approve samples and conduct pre-dispatch inspections.
