Job Key Responsibilities :

Quality System Implementation and Adherence:

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality system in accordance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards. Ensure compliance with all applicable industry standards (ASTM, DIN, ISO, etc.) and regulatory requirements. Conduct quality internal audits and manage external audits to maintain QMS certification. Manage document control and ensure all quality-related documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Quality Control and Inspection:

Ensure that quality control processes for raw materials inspection, in-process production inspection, and finished products inspection are done. Develop and implement inspection and testing procedures wherever necessary. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of quality data. Manage calibration and maintenance of testing equipment. Supervise a team quality control engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance management.

Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement:

Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance product quality and efficiency. Use statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to monitor and improve process performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.

Customer Relationship Management:

Address customer complaints and inquiries related to product quality. Participate in customer audits and visits. Ensure 100% customer satisfaction through consistent product quality and timely resolution of issues.

Team Leadership and Development:

Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. Assign tasks and responsibilities effectively. Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial preferred). Minimum 8-10 years of experience in quality management within the PVC pipe or plastics industry. Proven experience in maintaining ISO 9001 QMS. Experience in leading and managing a team. Experience with ASTM, DIN and ISO standards for PVC pipe products.
