Job Description

The Quality Line Inspector will be responsible for inspecting plastic painted components on the production line to ensure they meet company quality standards. The role involves visual inspection, measurement checks, documenting defects, and coordinating with the production and painting teams to maintain high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

visual inspection

of plastic painted parts for defects such as scratches, dust particles, colour variation, orange peel, pinholes, paint runs, and surface imperfections. Conduct

dimensional checks

using gauges, vernier calipers, and other measuring instruments (if required). Ensure

paint thickness

, finish uniformity, adhesion, and gloss meet required standards (as per specifications). Identify, record, and segregate

defective parts

and communicate findings to the production/paint team immediately. Maintain accurate

inspection records

, check sheets, and daily quality reports. Monitor the

painting process parameters

and escalate deviations. Ensure proper

handling and storage

of painted parts to prevent damage. Support

root cause analysis

and corrective actions for repeated defects. Ensure compliance with

quality standards

, SOPs, and safety guidelines. Coordinate with supervisors to ensure

continuous improvements

in quality.
