Position: Quality Laboratory Supervisor Location: Nagarnar (Jagdalpur-Chhattisgarh) Salary: As per interview Reports to (job) : Head \xe2\x80\x93 Laboratory and Analytical Services \xc3\x98 Purpose of Position Responsible for technical and administrative function of the chemical Laboratory. Which includes all the technical support to operation, back office and understanding and implementation of organisation and customer requirements related to Coal/Coke, Mineral and Agriculture product analysis. \xc3\x98 Major Responsibilities - Responsible for overall laboratory operations if require. - Responsible for monitoring the performance checking of instruments. - Responsible to demonstrate the competence of analysis as per the test method to external customers and Auditors - Responsible to monitor and arrange the test results as per the agreed TAT - Responsible to train and supervise the trainee chemist / Chemist and Lab assistant - Responsibilities to assign the samples to Trainee Chemist and Chemist and Sr Chemist - Responsible to monitor standard solutions and standardisation - Responsible to coordinate and analyse performance check sample (ILCT/PT etc.) - Responsible to support the technical manager on completion of corrective action due to any non-compliance found on Laboratory activity and/or analysis - Responsible to analyse and control measure of the certified reference material (issuance, stock etc.) - Responsible for verification, Intermediate Check and maintenance of the Instrument used for analysis - Responsible to inform the chemical and consumables stocks for indent purpose - Understanding of NABL (ISO 17025) requirements - Responsible to develop laboratory test method using existing lab facilities. - Responsible to minimise machine break down time. - Responsible to maximum utilisation of equipment with respect to cost control. - Responsible to review and verify test results and issue Test Report if authorized. - Responsible to estimate, plan the MOU if require. - Responsible of Internal Glassware Calibration. - Comply with local legal requirements policies and procedure. - Responsible to identify the purchase requirement of equipment spares, Chemicals and lab accessories etc. - Responsible to identify the requirement of new equipment with justification. - Identify training needs, preparing training plan, providing necessary training and instruction. - Responsible to develop, validate of Laboratory In house method. - Responsible to review and verify revised/new std. test methods - Responsible to determine decision rule including statement of conformity, opinion and interpretation if applicable \xc3\x98 Roles & Responsibilities for HSE - Responsible for compliances of all applicable statutory laws and regulations as well as Group HSE policies and procedures etc. in relation to Health safety and environment and workmen employment. - Responsible for ensuring necessary HSSE training to all staff in mandatory topics. - Responsible for implication of BV cardinal Safety rules under Laboratory. - Responsible for taking care the Health & Safety of the Employees working under him in Lab. - Responsible to provide their HSSE technical expertise to support all activities Group wide. \xc3\x98 Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs) - Over all Laboratory TAT. - % of non-conforming work in Laboratory. - Comply of QMS document. - Lab Z- score performances - Training man-day per year. - 5S implementation of Laboratory - Achieve the targeted budget of Lab Submitted samples. \xc3\x98 Qualification and Experience - B.Sc. / M.Sc. with Chemistry with 1 to 2 years of similar experience. - Management degree will be an added advantage but not mandatory. - Knowledge, experience and exposure in similar business and industry \xc3\x98 Skills & Qualities - Effective verbal and written communication for interacting with co-worker and customers or clients. - Must Have Openness, Flexibility, good understanding of customer requirements - Good communication and leadership skill. Expertise in handling and calibrating laboratory Instrument training on ISO/IEC 17025 requirements - Well understanding of different documents and testing Standards Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent Salary: 929,000.00 - 930,000.00 per month Schedule:
