We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated

Junior Quality Engineer

to support our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining quality standards, conducting inspections, analyzing data, and implementing improvements to ensure products and processes meet internal and external requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Support quality assurance processes across production and development activities. Assist in creating and updating quality documentation, including SOPs, inspection plans, and audit checklists. Conduct product inspections and process audits to ensure compliance with quality standards. Analyze quality data and report on trends, defects, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, procurement) to resolve quality issues. Help in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Participate in internal and external audits (ISO, customer, etc.). Maintain calibration and testing records for quality equipment. Support continuous improvement initiatives using tools like 5S, Six Sigma, or Lean principles.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related Engineering field. 0-2 years of relevant experience in quality assurance or engineering (internships count). Basic knowledge of quality tools (e.g., 7QC tools, FMEA, SPC, CAPA). Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is a plus. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of quality software is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to industry-specific standards (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, ISO 13485, AS9100). Experience with basic measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM). Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodology (Green Belt certification is a plus).
