We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing quality standards aligned with ISO 9001 and industry best practices.
Conduct root cause analysis on product defects or process deviations to identify underlying issues and recommend corrective actions.
Support project scheduling efforts by coordinating testing phases, inspections, and process improvements to meet production timelines.
Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo to review schematics, design modifications, and tooling layouts.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams on assembly line processes, robotics integration, and fabrication techniques to optimize quality outcomes.
Perform process engineering tasks including CNC programming, CAM programming, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) evaluations.
Operate vision inspection systems and industrial equipment to verify product specifications and detect defects efficiently.
Assist in the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, welding equipment, and other automation tools.
Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Document inspection results, process changes, and non-conformance reports accurately for compliance records.
Participate in factory audits and contribute to maintaining compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001.
Experience
Previous experience or internship in a manufacturing facility or industrial engineering environment is preferred.
Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes and assembly line operations is advantageous.
Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment, tooling, fabrication techniques, and mechanical engineering principles is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo) for schematics or design review is beneficial.
Knowledge of robotics programming, vision inspection systems, CNC programming, CAM programming, and schematic interpretation will set candidates apart.
Understanding of lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement practices is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams and documenting technical information clearly.
