Job description for quality inspector for an engineering company
Position Overview
The candidate will have responsibility of visual, dimensional checks of incoming material and finished products and maintain records.
Key Responsibilities
Perform regular quality checks on incoming materials and finished products
Measure product dimensions and compare with the drawings and specifications.
Read drawings and specifications to understand the requirements of products
Verify the implementation of painting process and ensure quality paint.
Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
Prepare daily reports and maintain records for incoming parts and PDI.
Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
Guide production team about quality issues to improve product quality.
Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering (or related field).
Graduate in any discipline with relevant experience may also apply.
3-4 years' experience as quality inspector in an engineering/manufacturing company.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹270,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
