Key responsibilities

Perform inspections:

Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products at various stages of production.

Test products:

Conduct tests to identify defects and ensure products meet performance criteria.

Use measurement tools:

Operate tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers to verify dimensions and specifications.

Review documentation:

Read blueprints, specifications, and other documents to ensure production processes are followed correctly.

Document findings:

Record and report any defects, deviations, or non-conformities.

Recommend improvements:

Suggest adjustments to the assembly or production process to improve quality.

Accept or reject products:

Make decisions on whether products meet quality standards and remove those that fail to comply.

Collaborate with teams:

Work with production and management to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Enforce standards:

Monitor and enforce compliance with quality control policies and procedures.
