Job Description

A Quality Inspector ensures products meet company and industry standards by conducting inspections, performing tests, and making measurements to identify defects. They work with production teams to ensure compliance at every stage, document findings, and recommend corrective actions to maintain quality and prevent errors. Core responsibilities

Inspect products:

Perform visual and physical inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished goods to identify defects or deviations from specifications.

Conduct tests and measurements:

Use tools like calipers, gauges, and micrometers to measure product dimensions and perform various tests to ensure performance criteria are met.

Read and interpret documentation:

Review blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure products are manufactured according to design.

Document and report:

Record inspection results, non-conformities, and defects, and create reports to communicate findings to production teams and management.

Monitor processes:

Observe manufacturing operations to ensure they align with established quality standards and procedures.

Recommend improvements:

Suggest adjustments to production processes to improve product quality and reduce errors.
