Key Responsibilities
Inspections & Testing: Conduct visual and physical inspections of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Documentation: Record all inspection findings, test results, and defect reports in a clear, organized manner.
Problem Identification: Identify defective products or materials and initiate non-conformance reports.
Reporting & Communication: Notify supervisors of quality issues and work with production and engineering teams to resolve problems and implement corrective actions.
Process Monitoring: Monitor automated inspection systems and ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout the manufacturing process.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions taken. Essential Skills
Technical Skills: Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers), technical drawings, and quality control methodologies (e.g., SPC).
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze measurements, interpret data, and identify patterns in production issues.
