Position: Quality Inspector - PEB Industry
We are hiring a Quality Inspector with hands-on experience in structural steel fabrication and erection. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of materials, welds, dimensions, coatings, and erection processes at our fabrication plant and project sites.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Visual and dimensional inspection of raw materials like steel sections, plates, bolts, and sheeting
Monitor welding work, surface finishing, and bolt tightening at fabrication and erection stages
Verify drawings and ensure execution as per design specifications
Maintain QA/QC records, inspection checklists, and site logs
Coordinate with production team, erection crew, and site engineers
Ensure compliance with PEB industry standards, safety norms, and company quality policies
Participate in client inspections, third-party audits, and internal quality reviews
Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Structural or related field
Experience: Minimum 4-8 years in QA/QC or inspection in PEB, steel structures, or fabrication
Knowledge of welding symbols, IS codes, QA/QC documentation, and safety practices is essential
Proficient in using measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Measuring Tape, Spirit Level, Micrometer, Weld Gauges
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation
