Position Overview
We are looking for a Quality Inspector with solid technical inspection experience, strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to ensure quality compliance from raw material to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Perform dimensional measurements using precision tools (vernier caliper, micrometer, bore dial gauge, etc.).
Conduct mechanical property checks, including hardness and UTS (Ultimate Tensile Strength) testing.
Coordinate or carry out chemical property checks.
Verify alignment and fitment of components during manufacturing and assembly.
Review and interpret manufacturing drawings accurately.
Inspect and approve incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products.
Prepare and maintain inspection documentation and reports.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute.
Higher Secondary (Science) with minimum 60% marks in Mathematics and Physics.
Minimum 3 years' experience in quality inspection for mechanical manufacturing.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes: machining, fabrication, assembly, and fitment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings.
Knowledge of quality documentation and MS Office.
AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
Own a two-wheeler preferred.
Candidates residing in Howrah will be given preference.
