We are seeking a male diploma holder with experience in quality inspection and the ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified quality standards and drawing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Inspection:
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and components as per 2D drawings and specifications.
Use precision measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) to verify dimensions.
Conduct visual and dimensional checks to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities.
Drawing Interpretation:
Read and understand 2D engineering drawings, including tolerances, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and surface finish requirements.
Ensure all inspected parts comply with the given drawings and quality standards.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare inspection reports and maintain records of approved/rejected materials.
Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for defective parts and follow up on corrective actions.
Coordination with Production & Vendors:
Communicate with production teams and suppliers regarding quality issues.
Assist in resolving quality-related concerns with vendors and internal departments.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement:
Follow company quality policies and industry standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.).
Participate in root cause analysis for recurring defects.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering (
Mandatory
).
Experience: 0 -2 years
in quality inspection in a manufacturing/factory environment.
Technical Skills:
Must be able to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings.
Hands-on experience with measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, plug gauges, etc.).
Basic knowledge of quality standards.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills (to interact with vendors and production teams).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Conditions:
Shop floor / factory environment.
May involve standing for long hours and handling inspection tools.
