The

Production Quality Inspector

is responsible for ensuring that all manufactured products meet the required quality standards before they are dispatched. The role involves inspecting raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods, maintaining proper records, and coordinating with the production team to ensure continuous improvement in product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished products as per quality standards. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring instruments (e.g., Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges). Identify, document, and report any non-conformities or defects. Maintain inspection records, reports, and rejection logs accurately. Ensure that only quality-approved products move to the next production stage or dispatch. Support the production team in identifying and resolving quality-related issues. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality checklists. Ensure compliance with company quality policies and safety standards. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Participate in regular training and audits related to quality control.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Diploma / ITI / B.E/Any degree (preferably in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial disciplines).

Experience:

0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (Freshers can also apply).

Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring instruments. Understanding of ISO standards and quality documentation.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Time management and reporting accuracy.
