Knowledge of Measuring instruments and guages design, planning, use, calibration and maintenance and hands on experience with measuring high precision parts
Good understanding of part drawings
Compare products to specifications and industry standards using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Identify, document, and report defects or inconsistencies.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare reports.
Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Send parts for external testing per protocols
General Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in precision automotive component industry or Medical device industry
- Exposure to ISO 13485 is a plus
