Job Summary

Phantom Hands (www.phantomhands.in) is a Bangalore based furniture manufacturer. We make high quality designer furniture for the global market, mainly using teak wood. Our chairs are found in high-end homes and commercial projects in countries like USA, Belgium, France, Italy, etc. and we are becoming a recognized brand in the global interior design world.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector who for quality control and ensuring that every product that leaves our factory meets the high quality standard we set for ourselves.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Managing the quality process and implementing necessary steps in the production process for quality control.
2. Inspection and checking of items under production in the carpentry workshop to make sure that there is no deviation from the model template.
2. Checking items after each stage of the production process - polishing, cane weaving, upholstery, etc.
3. Final quality check and approval of each piece of furniture before it is packed and shipped.
4. Coordinating with production team to ensure necessary corrections or repairs are made to the product in order to achieve required standard.
5. Supervision of packing process to ensure that packing quality and safety are maintained.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Ideal profile:
1. 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing unit in the furniture or interior design industry. Knowledge of wood or wood related products will be highly preferred.
2. Extremely high attention to detail.
3. Should be able to manage people and get work done.
4. Honesty and integrity are critical for the role

Compensation range

: Will depend on work experience and skills

: Abbigere Industrial area (near Jalahalli), Bangalore.
