Job Description

Conduct in-process, first piece, and final inspection of plastic moulded parts. Inspect product dimensions using instruments like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauge, etc. Monitor moulding parameters and highlight abnormalities in products and machine settings. Perform visual inspection for defects such as flow marks, flash, short moulding, burns, etc. Record inspection findings and maintain proper documentation (Inspection reports, NCRs). Ensure proper identification, segregation, and handling of non-conforming products. Support line operators and technician teams in corrective actions and quality improvements. Follow sampling plans as per control plan and customer requirements. Conduct incoming quality checks of raw materials, packaging materials when required. Maintain 5S and safety standards in the working area. Good knowledge of Plastic Injection Moulding processes and common defects Ability to read engineering drawings & understanding of GD&T (preferred). Hands-on experience with measuring & testing instruments
