Job Description

Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests using precision tools and equipment. Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality control activities. Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to prevent quality issues from recurring. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and work instructions. Conduct periodic audits of production processes to verify adherence to quality requirements. Provide training and support to production personnel on quality-related topics. Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality assurance and inspection techniques.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in quality assurance is preferred. Proven experience in quality inspection or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with quality control techniques, tools, and methodologies. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. Proficiency in using measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
