Job Description

Job Purpose:

To ensure the delivery of quality products by implementing and maintaining effective quality control systems, supervising the quality team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead the Quality Control (QC) / Quality Assurance (QA) team on the production floor. Develop and implement inspection plans, testing procedures, and quality standards. Monitor and inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications. Investigate and resolve product quality issues and customer complaints. Maintain accurate quality documentation including inspection reports, deviation reports, and corrective action logs. Coordinate with production, maintenance, and R&D departments to resolve quality-related issues. Train and guide quality inspectors on standard procedures and quality tools. Implement and monitor 5S, Kaizen, and other quality improvement initiatives. Prepare and participate in internal and external audits (ISO, GMP, etc.). Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) for quality deviations. Report key quality metrics (e.g., rejection rate, rework, customer complaints) to management
