Job Description

We are hiring a Quality In-charge for an edible oil industry on behalf of our client, who manages the quality management system (QMS) to ensure products meet food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000). Key responsibilities include conducting physical, chemical, and microbiological analysis of raw materials and finished products, overseeing sanitation, investigating customer complaints, and leading quality staff.

Responsibilities

Quality Control & Testing:

Analyze raw materials (crude oil), refined oil, and packaging materials. Monitor critical points in the production process and maintain daily testing logs.

Compliance & Auditing:

Ensure compliance with national/international food safety standards (e.g., FSSAI, ISO 22000, HALAL) and conduct internal/external audits.

Product Testing Methods:

Ensure laboratory procedures follow standard methods (e.g., AOCS) to test color, flavor, FFA, moisture, peroxide value, and contaminants.

Process Improvement:

Implement TQM, 5S, and KAIZEN to minimize waste, enhance process efficiency, and ensure consistent product quality.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of batch production, quality checks, and non-compliance reports. Prepare and review documentation for supplier approvals.

Team Leadership:

Train and supervise QC staff in, hygiene, safety protocols, and laboratory techniques.

Key Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's or MSc/ PhD in Food Technology, Chemistry, or Biotechnology.

Experience:

4-6 years in edible oil refining or food processing QA/QC roles.

Skills:

Knowledge of HPLC/GC, GMP/HACCP systems, and proficiency in MS Office.

Pay: ?60,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
