Job Description

The

Quality In-Charge

is responsible for ensuring that all blue metal, M-Sand, P-Sand, and aggregates produced at the crusher unit meet required quality standards, IS specifications, and customer requirements. The role involves regular testing, monitoring production quality, documentation, and coordination with production and dispatch teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control & Testing

Conduct regular

quality testing of aggregates, M-Sand, and P-Sand

as per IS standards (IS 383, IS 2386, etc.). Monitor

gradation, moisture content, shape, and cleanliness

of materials. Maintain consistency in product quality during production.
Inspection & Monitoring

Inspect raw materials, crusher outputs, and finished products. Identify quality deviations and take corrective actions with the production team. Ensure proper segregation of materials based on size and quality.
Documentation & Records

Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly

quality test reports

. Record test results, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Prepare quality compliance documents for audits and customer requirements.
Coordination & Compliance

Coordinate with

Production, Dispatch, and Sales teams

to meet customer quality expectations. Ensure compliance with

statutory, environmental, and safety norms

related to quality. Assist during internal and external quality audits.
Continuous Improvement

Suggest improvements in crusher settings, screening, and washing processes. Support management in reducing material rejection and customer complaints. Train operators and supervisors on quality awareness.
Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong knowledge of

aggregate quality standards and testing procedures

. Familiarity with

IS codes

related to aggregates and sand. Ability to analyse test results and identify root causes. Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting). Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications

Diploma / B.E. in

Civil Engineering / Mining / Mechanical

Certification in Quality Control is an added advantage.
Experience

2-5 years

of experience in Crusher / Blue Metals / Quarry Hands-on experience in material testing and site-level quality management.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
