Lead and manage the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.
Establish and implement robust quality control systems for raw materials, in-process checks, and final product inspection.
Develop and maintain ISO 9001 and other relevant quality certifications.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
Monitor and ensure product compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Implement quality improvement plans, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies where applicable.
Collaborate with the production, maintenance, and R&D teams for continuous quality improvement.
Manage internal audits, customer audits, and third-party inspections.
Develop training programs for quality team members and production staff to ensure quality awareness.
Report key quality metrics and maintain proper documentation and reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in a quality leadership role in a manufacturing setup.
Strong understanding of mechanical components, metallurgy, and machining processes.
Familiarity with testing equipment, quality tools (7 QC tools, FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.).
Working knowledge of ISO/TS standards, QMS documentation, and audits.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
Six Sigma Certification (Green/Black Belt)
Experience in chain or similar precision component manufacturing
ERP and data analytics exposure
