Role Overview:



The Quality Head will lead the Quality function of the organization, ensuring adherence to quality standards in fabrication, machining, assembly, and overall manufacturing processes. The role requires strong knowledge of

Fabrication processes, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), welding standards, and international quality systems (ISO/ASME/AS/EN standards).

The Quality Head will drive continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:Strategic & Leadership:



Develop and implement quality strategies, policies, and objectives aligned with company goals. Lead and mentor the QA/QC team, driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Represent the organization during client/third-party audits and inspections.

Quality Assurance & Control:



Ensure strict compliance with fabrication drawings, GD&T specifications, and welding procedures. Establish and maintain inspection & testing plans for raw materials, in-process, and finished products. Review and approve quality plans, inspection reports, and quality documentation. Monitor and analyze NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure timely corrective & preventive actions. Ensure calibration and proper usage of measuring instruments and gauges.

Process Improvement:



Implement Lean / Six Sigma tools to reduce rework, rejections, and improve overall efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA) for recurring issues. Drive supplier quality improvement programs and vendor audits.

Compliance & Standards:



Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ASME, IBR, and other applicable quality standards. Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and statutory regulations. Maintain and update QMS documentation and SOPs.

Customer & Stakeholder Management:



Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors for quality-related approvals. Ensure timely submission of quality dossiers, reports, and certifications. Address and resolve customer complaints related to quality issues.

Skills & Competencies:



Strong knowledge of

Fabrication, Welding, Machining, GD&T, and QA/QC methodologies

. Familiar with NDT methods (UT, RT, PT, MT) and welding codes (ASME, AWS, EN). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and quality management software. Contact - 7030483048 Dhananjay Kate-Hr Manager
