Roles and Responsibilities

• Preparation and implementation of QA/QC policies and procedures
• Implementation of Q.M. System in the Project Site.
• Responsible for Quality Planning, Assurance, Control and Quality Improvement
• Preparing segment quality plan, inspection & Test plans and getting the same approved by PM after review by HO.
• Deputing QA/QC Engineers at various areas of operations / activities.
• Interaction with Clients / Consultants regarding Q.M. Procedures approval & implementation.
• Reporting at Head, IMS and HO regarding the performance of Q.M. system at the relevant Project Site.
• Prepare project handing over document related with Quality as per established system to Quality Management.
• Preparation of ITPs and formats for various activities
• Inspection of field activities as per approved inspection plans, obtaining clearances from clients / consultants and making reports, issuing NCRs and closing after corrective / preventive actions.
• Reporting to the project manager regarding QA performance
• Co-ordinate with stores team to plan to test of raw materials.
• Interact with client / consultants regarding material selection / testing and approval.
• Reporting to Project Manager administratively and functionally to IMS Head at HO.
• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction, SI.
• Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
• Responsible for checking, verifications & approval of Mix design, ITP, procedures, QAP.
• Implementation QMS system & monitoring of contractor day to day activities
• Monitoring day-to day activities pertaining to quality
• Co-ordinate with stores team to plan to test of raw materials.
• Coordination with Execution team during inspection of works and suggest necessary Corrective and Preventive action to control the Nonconforming products/work

Working days:
6 days working with 6 week offs in a month (working days would be roster based).
