QUALITY HEAD - FABRICATION & SHEET METAL

Location: Kurali

Working Days: Monday - Saturday



Lead and manage Quality Assurance & Quality Control for fabrication and sheet metal operations. Responsible for implementing and maintaining QMS, ensuring compliance with customer, railway, and pressure vessel standards, and driving continuous improvement across fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.

Core Expertise (Fabrication Focused)

Quality Management Systems (QMS) Sheet metal & heavy fabrication quality Welding quality & inspection Incoming, in-process & final inspection Dimensional inspection & tolerance control Root Cause Analysis, CAPA & Poka-Yoke Customer, internal & third-party audits
Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain QMS aligned with customer and regulatory requirements

Lead QA & QC teams across fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly

Ensure quality compliance for laser cutting, bending, welding & fabrication

Drive defect reduction, rework control, and yield improvement

Conduct and manage internal, customer & certification audits

Ensure calibration and inspection readiness at all stages

Coordinate with production, engineering & inspection teams

Requirements

BE / B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering

15-20 years experience in fabrication / sheet metal / railways / pressure vessels / heavy engineering

Exposure to ISO / EN standards, Six Sigma, Lean

Strong leadership & communication skills

Salary

Up to ?20 LPA (Negotiable)
