Job Description

1. Quality Assurance Planning : Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards and customer requirements

2. Quality standards : Stay updated on industry specific quality standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001 and ensure that the manufacturing processes adhere to these standards.

3. Inspection & Testing : Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process components and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and market standards.

4. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of inspection and testing results, including non-conformities, and document corrective action taken.

5. Quality Audits : Conduct internal quality audits to identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing process and to ensure adherence to established quality control procedures

6. Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement in quality, process and efficiency, such as Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

7. Equipment and Toll Calibration: Ensure that measuring and testing equipment used in quality control are properly calibrated and maintained

8. Safety Compliance : Ensure that safety regulations and protocols are followed during quality control activities to protect both employees and the integrity of the products.

9. Cost Control: Work to minimize quality-related costs, such as rework, scrap and warranty claims, by identifying and addressing root causes of defects.
