Job Profile of a Quality Executive in Sweet Line

1.

Quality Control (QC)

Conduct routine

in-process and final product inspections

. Monitor

critical control points (CCPs)

in the production line. Check

parameters like weight, size, color, texture, and taste

of sweets. Ensure correct packaging and labeling as per specifications.
2.

Quality Assurance (QA)

Implement

GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

and

HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)

protocols. Maintain and update

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

. Conduct

internal audits

to ensure adherence to food safety norms. Coordinate with external bodies during

FSSAI, ISO, or customer audits

.
3.

Lab Testing

Conduct or supervise

microbiological and chemical testing

of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products. Verify results and initiate

corrective actions

for out-of-spec batches.
4.

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain detailed records of

daily QC checks

batch production

,

non-conformities

, and

corrective actions

. Prepare

monthly quality reports

for management review.
5.

Supplier and Raw Material Management

Approve or reject raw materials based on quality checks. Ensure traceability of materials used in each batch.
6.

Training and Development

Train production staff on

quality standards

food safety protocols

Skills Required

Knowledge of

FSSAI guidelines

ISO 22000

BRC

Educational Background

B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry
