Qualifications: MHA / MBA (Healthcare)
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare quality management. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and accreditation processes (e.g., NABH, JCI).

Works collaboratively with Physicians, Nurses, Employees, and community entities to develop, implement and manage programs to enhance the quality of patient care and maintain and improve patient and staff safety at St. Joseph's Mission Hospital.
To make daily rounds and finish the nursing department's incomplete inpatient and outpatient files.
Responsible to implement, monitor and manage the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs.
Identifying the areas of customer dissatisfaction and carry out necessary investigation/studies.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of hospital departments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Prepare and present reports on quality metrics, audit results, and corrective actions.
Assist in identifying and assessing potential risks to patient safety and hospital operations.
Implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
Monitor patient feedback and complaints to identify areas for improvement in patient care.
Work with clinical and non-clinical teams to enhance the patient experience.
Implement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction scores.
To take corrective and preventive action towards the complaints.
Investigation and analysis of incident reports and corrective action to prevent recurrences.
Coordination with infection control committee in decreasing the incidence of infection in the hospital.
To conduct process and outcome audit in clinical areas including lab and imaging services.
To conduct awareness program regarding Quality Assurance, ISO & NABH.
Periodical assessment of hospitals on quality check list and arrive at a score for the facility.
Identification of gaps, develop action plan under the guidance of in- charge of the hospital and monitor compliance.
To help in preparing and implement operating guidelines such as departmental manuals containing core processes, work instructions, process mapping, department procedure, relevant documentation etc.
Develop assurance policies and procedures
To create awareness in the people related to quality standards and its implementation
Effectively communicates improvements that are made to work teams, staff, managers, and administrators throughout the hospital.
Maintains accountability for ongoing self-development activities, especially related to change management and application of quality improvement activities.
To assist operation manager in monitoring performance of all departments through Quality Indicators set and agreed beforehand for each department.
Defines and reduces variation in clinical and hospital processes by developing standards of service that are clear, realistic, measurable and responsive. This includes monitoring the Policies and Procedures of St. Joseph's Mission Hospital and ensuring they are reviewed and revised regularly.
Understands the needs, philosophy, mission, and values of St. Joseph's Mission Hospital so that he/she can plan the most effective quality assurance program; evaluating the plans already in place and making changes as needed.
Improves the quality of patient care through assessment and evaluation of the functions, processes and outcomes affecting patient care. Develops and follows through on quality initiatives.
Monitors, evaluates, and responds appropriately and in a timely manner to patient, nursing staff and physician expectations, satisfaction and performance through one-on-one communication, surveys, focus groups, regular memoranda, committee meetings, formal and informal communication methods.
Maintains an open door policy to facilitate communication with all staff and encourages teamwork. Holds regularly scheduled departmental and individual meetings.
Ensures that all members of the Hospital are aware that Quality Patient Care is everyone's responsibility.
Establishes a formal means of accountability for those staff who report directly to the Head of Quality and holds all staff to high levels of job performance.
Communicates Quality Assurance activities, findings, actions and the effectiveness of same by establishing specific reporting formats and time frames to the management.
Provides NABH audit report to the COO/ OM on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to make sure that the Hospital is maintaining the standards.
Examines reviews conducted by outside agencies regarding the quality of care in the hospital and recommends and implements changes when necessary.
Expected to work occasional overtime, evenings, or on weekends to prepare for a quality assurance review or to handle emergencies.
Stay updated on the latest regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices.
Ensure hospital policies and procedures are aligned with current regulations.
Facilitate internal and external audits related to quality and safety standards.
