Key Responsibilities

NABH Compliance & Accreditation:

Monitor, evaluate, and maintain Centre practices in accordance with NABH guidelines. Coordinate renewal processes for certification.

Documentation Management:

Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality manuals, and policy documents across all departments.

Audits & Inspections:

Conduct regular internal audits, clinical audits, and facility inspection rounds to identify safety risks and non-compliance.

Quality Indicators:

Collect and analyze departmental Continuous Quality Indicators (CQIs) to monitor hospital performance and patient safety data.

Staff Training:

Conduct induction orientation and regular training sessions for employees on NABH standards and quality protocols.

Incident Management:

Oversee incident reporting, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

Safety & Mock Drills:

Organize and document mandatory mock drills such as Code Red (Fire), Code Blue (Medical Emergency), and Code Pink (Child Abduction).

Committee Support:

Coordinate Centre quality committee meetings, document minutes, and follow up on closure of identified gaps.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Preferably Bachelors/Masters in Nursing & MHA.

Experience:

Typically requires 1-3 years of experience in the quality department of an NABH-accredited hospital.

Certifications:

NABH training or certification is highly preferred. Knowledge of tools like Six Sigma or Lean is an advantage.

Key Skills:

Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint), hospital management systems, and analytical thinking for process improvement.
